$1,600 Bike Stolen At Western Springs Pool: Cops
The bike was unlocked, police said. The pool's operator reminds members to lock their bikes.

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL – Western Springs police released their latest blotter. Here is information from the reports:
Theft
- A person's unlocked bicycle was stolen Saturday afternoon while the person was at Western Springs Pool, 1300 Hillgrove Ave. The bike was valued at $1,638. In June, Western Springs reported the attempted thefts of bikes at the pool. The Western Springs Service Club, which runs the pool, reminds its members to lock their bikes in the racks.
Damage

- An enclosed trailer was damaged on July 27 or July 28 in the 5600 block of Wolf Road. The estimated damage is unknown.
Suspended license
- A 26-year-old Chicago man was arrested about 8:30 a.m. July 30 at Ogden and Grove avenues on charges of driving with a suspended license, driving an uninsured car and speeding.
