$15K Jewelry Theft In Western Springs: Cops

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL – Western Springs police released their latest blotter Monday. Here is information from the reports:

Theft

• Three pieces of jewelry worth $15,000 were reported stolen Tuesday from a house in the 4100 block of Grove Avenue.

Damage

• Three or four holiday light sets were reported damaged Tuesday at a house in the 4200 block of Rose Avenue. The lights were valued at $100.

Identity theft

• A resident in the 4200 block of Johnson Avenue told police Friday that someone used his identity to buy a vehicle and open several lines of credit.
