2014 Turkey Shoot Competition Winners Announced

The annual Turkey Shoot Free Throw Competition was held Saturday, November 22 in the Western Springs Recreation Center, 1500 Walker St, WS.

Participants shot free throws within their age group to win gift cards to local stores. Several basketballs, volleyballs and Ohio State University men’s basketball items were raffled off to the participants. Christopher Spartz, OSU Men’s Assistant Coach, was a guest speaker for the event that coincided with the dedication of the new gym floor in the Recreation Center.

The award winners were:
AGES 5-7 YEARS
Boys – 1st place – Ed McNamara; 2nd place – Bobby Labuda; 3rd place – Martin Noth
Girls – 1st place – Payton Heatherly; 2nd place – Kate Heatherly; 3rd place – Ceci Vlk

AGES 8-10 YEARS
Boys – 1st place – Zack Labuda; 2nd place Louis Kaminski; 3rd place – Drew Escamilla
Girls – 1st place – Molly Michalak; 2nd place – May Escamilla; 3rd place – Olivia Heneghan

AGES 11-13 YEARS
Boys – 1st place – Tyler Fennema; 2nd place – Josh Santarelli; 3rd place – Zack Janicki
Girls – 1st place – Kate Neary; 2nd place – Grace McGann; 3rd place – Nancy Vlk

AGES 14 thru ADULT
