Joey Rosin - Sax / Flute / Clarinet
Joey Rosin is a flute, clarinet, saxophinst, and a pianist. He graduated Summa *** Laude from the University of Miami Frost School of Music with a B.M. in Studio Music. Joey has performed with many world class artists including Gloria Estefan, John Secada, Rita Moreno, Michael Feinstein, Patti Austin, Renee Olstead, Barry Manilow, etc. He has headlined at Chicago’s Jazz Showcase with his own group and has toured France, the Netherlands, and California including a performance at the Monterey Jazz Festival. Lauren Hayes - Harp / Piano / Bassoon
Lauren Hayes has performed harp, piano, and bassoon, studied, taught, and successfully competed from Paris to Los Angeles. Lauren received her Master of Arts in Harp with Distinction from the Royal Academy of Music, under the tutelage of Karen Vaughan and Skaila Kanga. While at RAM, she also pursued an emphasis in LRAM teaching certificate. In Chicago, Ms. Hayes will be performing with Chicago’s Lyric Opera in the fall of 2017 in their production of Die Walkure. Following her 2012 Carnegie Hall solo debut, Ms. Hayes was awarded third prize in the 2013 American Harp Society National Competition. In 2015 she was named as a finalist in the London Philharmonic’s “Foyle Future Firsts” Fellowship Program. As a 2012 winner of the University of Arizona President’s Competition, Ms. Hayes appeared as soloist with the Arizona Symphony. Also in 2012, Ms. Hayes was selected to be a participant at the International Harp Master’s Academy in Bern, Switzerland. During 2011, she was selected as a finalist in the Coeur d’Alene Symphony Young Artists Competition. Available Tuesdays in Clarendon Hls & Downers Grove

Brian Owen - Guitar / Bass
Brian Owen received his Bachelors in Music in Guitar Performance from Wheaton College. At Wheaton College, Brian studied under Dr. Brian Torosian. He focused on guitar, particularly in the areas of rock and jazz. While in school he played in numerous pit orchestras and even won an island-wide “battle of the bands” contest. During his time at Wheaton, Brian had multiple opportunities where he performed with Jazz ensembles, and performed as a featured soloist. Available Thursdays in St Charles

Drew Powell - Flute / Piano
Drew graduated with a BM in Flute Performance from Brigham Young University under the tutelage of Dr. April Clayton and John Thorne at Northwestern University, receiving a MM in Flute Performance. Available Saturdays in Clarendon Hls & Downers Grove

Matthew Primm - Violin / Cello / Piano / Winds
Matthew Primm received his B.A. in Music from UNC Charlotte, and his M.M. in Composition & Strings from the Hartt School in Connecticut. Prior to moving to Chicago, he worked for several years as Director of Orchestras at Pine Lake Preparatory in Charlotte, NC, and has taught private violin, viola, cello, pian, winds lessons to students of all ages. In addition to teaching, Matthew regularly performs, and has played viola and violin for several orchestra, opera, and musical theatre productions. In 2016 he co-founded the Particular Ensemble, a new music group based in Charlotte that promotes works by living composers. Available Saturdays in Clarendon Hills & Downers Grove

Justin Boyd - Drums / Guitar / Piano
Justin Boyd earned his Bachelors in Music from the Univ of Illinois at Chicago and his Masters of Music in Jazz Studies from DePaul Univ. He has directed the All-City Jazz Ensembles and Alt New Music Ensemble in the Chicago Public School system, where he has taught music theory, music composition and jazz theory. Mr. Boyd performs all styles of music and teaches private and group drum lessons. Available Tuesdays in Clarendon Hills & Downers Grove

Molly Hesse - Violin/ Viola

Molly is a Jennings Scholar recipient at Illinois Wesleyan University, where she studied with Vadim Mazo, performed as Principal Second Violin and Associate Concertmaster with the Illinois Wesleyan Civic Orchestra, and played in numerous chamber ensembles. Molly has several years of teaching and coaching experience. Available Saturdays in Clarendon Hls & Downers Grove
