'LaGrange Rocks' for The LeaderShop With 5K Run/Walk
Walkers and runners of all ages converge Saturday, June 7, for 5K benefiting youth service agency.
For over a decade, The LeaderShop has hosted the La Grange Rocks 5K Run/Walk. This family event has inspired the community to sponsor, participate, and cheer on racers in this benefit for the youth service agency with diverse programs that engage and inspire youth in Lyons and southern Proviso Townships to make a difference in their communities.
Registrations are being taken online at The Leader Shop.
What makes this 5K fun is the youth participation in this event. With two shorter races for younger children, this race brings family together to race and cheer for others. Youth bands also line up the route and play music at the post-race party. Medals are awarded for all age divisions.
