The first seven-week series of eight classes begins at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 13 at Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital.

Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital is offering smoking cessation classes beginning Jan. 13 for $99.
The classes were developed by the American Lung Association, according to a La Grange Memorial Hospital news release. Each session will be limited to 10 people, and sign up is available until the first class begins, as space allows.
“Each session encourages participant interaction and group support in overcoming the smoking habit,” according to the news release. “Nicotine withdrawal, medications to assist in quitting, coping mechanisms, diet and exercise are also addressed throughout the program.”
