All Saints Church Welcomes All to Easter Worship

All Saints Episcopal Church announces their schedule for Holy Week and Easter. All are welcome to join in for transformational worship.

All Saints Church announces its schedule for Easter and Holy Week. The Episcopal church welcomes all to worship and to the communion table. A vital part of the western suburbs since 1894, we are celebrating our 122nd Easter!

Easter is the church's great homecoming celebration. Whether you're returning to All Saints or just visiting for the first time, we welcome you to join us for all of Holy Week. The church is located at 4370 Woodland Avenue, just a block west of the Tower Green. See below for a full schedule of services and times. Contact the church at 708-246-0030, or visit www.allsaintsws.org/easter for more information.

Palm Sunday, April 9th

Maundy Thursday, April 13th
9:15am Healing Service with Readings for Holy Thursday

6:30pm Institution of the Lord's Supper with Handwashing and Service Project
As we remember Christ's great commandment that we love one another as He loved us, we will share an Agape meal together - and pack sack lunches to share our meal with BEDS clients in La Grange. Afterwards, we move to the church to strip the altar. This service, with its interactive format and snacks, may be a great time to introduce younger children to Jesus's command to love and serve all our neighbors.

7:30pm - 11pm Altar of Repose
You are invited to keep watch in St. Mary's chapel as the altar guild creates a "garden" for meditation and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.

Good Friday, April 14th
Noon: The Liturgy of Our Lord's Passion and Death (spoken)
7pm : The Liturgy of Our Lord's Passion and Death (with choir)
Both services feature our traditional Anglican Good Friday liturgy with a reading of St. John's passion, communion from the reserve sacrament, and adoration of the cross.

Holy Saturday, April 15th
10am: Morning Prayer
A short devotional offered before the altar guild begins to decorate the sanctuary.

7pm Easter Vigil
The first Eucharist of Easter, celebrated with stories of God's goodness and a renewal of our baptismal vows.

Easter Sunday, April 16th
8am Festive Eucharist with Hymns and Organ
10am Festive Eucharist with Choir - and Easter Egg hunt following the service!
Join us for the great homecoming feast as we celebrate Christ's resurrection. He is Risen - Alleluia!
The Easter Egg hunt is open to all kids, and will take place immediately following the 10am service. (Because of allergy concerns, eggs are packed with toys rather than edible treats. Parents, please supervise young children as some may present a choking hazard.)
