WESTERN SPRINGS, IL – Western Springs has released its latest police reports. Here is the information:
Disorderly conduct
A youth was cited about 9 p.m. July 29 on a charge of disorderly conduct. Police said they were called about the youth banging on the windows of a house in the 4700 block of Howard Avenue.
A brick was thrown through the front window at the Shell gas station, 5500 Wolf Road. Officers responded to a burglar alarm about 4 a.m. Friday.
Scam
A resident in the 3900 block of Western Avenue was scammed out of $3,500 from a telephone call he received. Police received the report Aug. 5.
Counterfeit
A business in the Garden Market Shopping Center at 4700 Willow Springs Road received a $100 counterfeit bill on Aug. 5. Police did not name the business.
