WESTERN SPRINGS, IL – Western Springs police released their latest blotter Monday. Here is information from the reports:
Wallet theft
Someone stole a woman's wallet while she was shopping about 5:30 p.m. Friday at Mariano's, 4700 Gilbert Ave. The wallet contained $100 in cash, identification and debit cards. Patch has filed a public records request for the police report.
Someone stole a purse from an unlocked car overnight Friday in the 5700 block of Woodland Avenue. The purse contained identification and debit and credit cards.
Someone broke into a car in the 4300 block of Central Avenue. Nothing was stolen. The owner reported the burglary Friday morning.
