
Western Springs, IL, November 26, 2012 – Hand, wrist and elbow orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Robert Wysocki of Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush, is now seeing patients at the group’s office located at 2450 Wolf Road, Westchester, IL, in the Prairie Medical Group building. Fellowship-trained in hand, upper extremity, and microvascular surgery, he brings a broad range of knowledge and experience to the residents of the western suburbs. Dr. Wysocki specializes in wrist ligament and cartilage injuries in athletes, hand/thumb arthritis, post-traumatic stiffness of the forearm/elbow, hand and wrist tumors and bone grafting.
After graduating from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, Dr. Wysocki completed his residency at Rush University Medical Center. He then completed his Hand, Upper Extremity and Microvascular Surgery Fellowship at Duke University Medical Center. His research has appeared in more than 20 publications on a variety of topics relating to hand, wrist and elbow conditions and treatments.
Dr. Wysocki is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Orthopaedic Association Emerging Leaders Program. He is also a candidate member of the American Society for surgery of the Hand and the Mid-America Orthopaedic Association.
