LT Participates In Student Silent Film Festival

This year's theme is 'A Silver Lining On The Silver Screen.' Submissions should be inspiring to audience members.

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL — Several area high schools will participate in the Chicago Area Student Silent Film Festival in Barrington on Nov. 10. The festival will be held at the Sanfilippo Estate in Barrington. According to event organizers, this year's theme is 'A Silver Lining On The Silver Screen.' Submissions should be inspiring to audience members.

Area high schools participating include: Vernon Hills High School, Mundelein High School, Southland College Prep Charter High School, Homewood-Flossmoor High School, Lake Forest High School, Lyons Township, Maine South High School, Franklin High School, York Community High School, Riverside Brookfield High School and Metea Valley High School.

The event will include a tour of the house and museum, a social hour and a screening of the films.
