Blizzard School Closings, Power Outages In Western Springs

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL — Due to the blizzard warning and predicted hazardous travel on Monday morning, several communities have announced school closures, according to the Emergency Closing Center.

The village said this week's Tuesday refuse and recycling service has also been delayed until Wednesday due to the weather.

Western Springs Village Hall was also closed on Monday due to an ongoing power outage. You may reach the administrative office by phone at 708-246-1800. The village said it will reopen once power has been restored.

• District 204 (Lyons Township High School)
