The society is proud that the zoo is an accessible destination and allows for seamless integration and enjoyment of its amazing animals and year-round events, helping to create one-of-a-kind and memorable experiences.

The day’s celebration will allow for guests of all abilities to learn more about the animals at special Zoo Chats, including at Habitat Africa! The Savannah, Big Cats, and Feathers and Scales, where American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation will be provided. Additionally, ASL interpretation, described shows, and touch tours will be featured at select Festival of Flight and Dolphins in Action presentations. A complete schedule can be viewed at CZS.org/UpcomingEvents.

Zoogoers also are invited to stop by Hamill Family Play Zoo to participate in making crafts throughout the day, and to explore different areas of the exhibit, both indoors and outdoors for great experiences in nature.
