Brownstock features student talent
Lyons Township High School's 18th annual Brownstock features student musicians and artists

Brownstock, a day-long concert by Lyons Township High School student musicians and artists, is scheduled for Friday, March 23. This year marks the 18th anniversary of the event.
LTTV will be streaming live at: https://youtu.be/7ZC6okIEbCo or simply tune into Comcast channel 99 in the LT communities and AT&T U-Verse channel 99 (listed under La Grange) throughout the Chicago area.
Brownstock began in former English teacher Glen Brown’s classroom as an open mic for any student who had a song to sing, a poem to read or music to play. It quickly expanded into a double classroom to accommodate its many participants, then stretched into the Reber Center for all of North Campus to enjoy. Teachers sign up to bring their classes into the theatre throughout the day and seating is on a first come-first served basis.
Brownstock provides students, who may or may not be a part of the LT Music Department, an opportunity to play their original work or perform covers of well-known music.
