Kick off the summer antiques show season on Saturday, June 6, 2026, 9 - 3, at the 4th Annual Fox Valley at the Fairgrounds Antiques Show in Wheaton, Illinois. Dealers from 7 states will gather under one roof to present the best of Americana. This show was held for many decades at the Kane County Fairgrounds in St. Charles. The DuPage Event Center &amp; Fairgrounds is now their 'forever' home. Free parking. Good food and plenty of comfortable seating. ATM. Admission of $10 benefits historical preservation projects. In recognition of their work to better the lives of our military heroes, K9s for Veterans, Nfp has been chosen by Sterk Family Law Group, P.C. as the Non-Profit Hero of the Month. 
This charitable volunteer organization brings hope and healing to those who have defended our nation&rsquo;s freedom.
K9s for Veterans, Nfp rescues dogs from high-kill shelters and trains them to become service dogs for veterans living with PTSD and/or a TBI. 
The program is literally a lifeline for BOTH the dogs and the humans, by saving two lives at the same time. 
The rescued dogs are given a second chance at life while providing companionship, support, and stability to the people who served our country.
 K9s for Veterans covers the cost of food and basic medical care for the entire life of every single service dog they place. The dogs receive lifelong care, with no financial burden for the veteran or their family.
