Cameras Get Western Springs Woman In Trouble: Cops
She pointed her security cameras toward a neighbor's property, police said.

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL – A Western Springs woman is accused of having her security cameras face a neighbor's property, police said.

In July, another resident, 68-year-old Eva A. Kirsch, was cited on a charge of disorderly conduct. This was after she pointed cameras at her neighbor's house, police said. An officer reported that when someone shows up at the neighbor's house, one of the cameras announces, "Hi, you are being audio and visually recorded."
A year earlier, Kirsch was charged with trespassing on a neighbor's property numerous times, police said.

- Two youths were cited recently at Lyons Township High School's South Campus, 4900 Willow Springs Road, on charges of possession of less than 10 grams of marijuana.
- A 77-year-old man from La Grange was cited about 9 a.m. Monday at Wolf Road and 47th Street on a charge of driving a vehicle with the registration suspended for lack of insurance. He was released on bond.
- A 46-year-old woman from Brookfield was cited about 8 a.m. Tuesday at Ogden Avenue and Wolf Road on charges of driving with a suspended license and driving with an expired registration. She was released on bond.
- A 26-year-old man from Carol Stream was cited about 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the 1000 block of 55th Street on charges of driving with no driver's license and driving with an expired registration. Police said the man never had a driver's license. He was released on bond.
