Celebrate Holday Tradtion with 23rd Annual La Grange Holiday Walk

The holidays officially begin in the village with the annual La Grange Holiday Walk.

The Holiday Walk takes place Saturday, Dec. 6, from 5 to 9 p.m., beginning on the Village Hall lawn.

The event will begin with an all-village sing at 4:45 p.m. Santa will arrive on a fire truck and the Village Tree will be lit. Businesses will open their doors for holiday shopping.

Activities include trolley rides, a petting zoo, pony rides and an ice sculpture demonstration. The La Grange Business Association will offer free valet parking.

Schedule of Events for Saturday, December 6:

3 p.m. Free holiday matinee at La Grange Theatre
4:45 p.m. All-village sing with Lyons Township High School Madrigal Choir
5 p.m. Petting zoo, pony rides, kiddie train and trolley rides begin
5 p.m. Festive merchant open houses until 9 p.m.
5:30 p.m. Santa arrives to Village Hall by fire truck.
6-8 p.m. Visits with Santa at Village Hall.
6:30 p.m. Live ice sculpting demonstration begins
7-8 p.m. Geoff Akin’s Bubble Wonder at La Grange Public Library
