Classical Blast band plays "The Dark Side of the Yule" at the Joliet Area Historical Museum on Thursday, Dec. 15th in the Museum's Indoor Auditorium Theater.
Classical Blast blurs musical lines, melding classical music into classic rock hits or rocking music by Beethoven, Bach and composers from other centuries, sometimes adding original lyrics. From Bach to classic rock to metal to pop, you’ll find their approach to music a refreshing change!
The Dark Side of the Yule: Christmas Meets Classic Rock! A full concert featuring great classic rock music mashed with traditional carols, classic holiday songs rocked up the Classical Blast way, a few originals and so much more! Classical Blast has also invited some very special guests to perform with them.
Classical Blast melds classic rock and Christmas in this wonderful concert experience that’s sure to become an annual holiday tradition. Combining rock hits from Metallica to Pink Floyd with their unique take on traditional carols and classical favorites, Classical Blast has created a one of the most unusual and enjoyable holiday shows to be found. With guest vocalists and musicians, dancers, storytelling and unforgettable music, it’s a Christmas show that's unique and entertaining, to say the least!
Doors open at 6:15 pm, and show starts at 7:00 pm. Beverages (Soda, beer, wine, water) available for
purchase (coffee & snacks are free). Only $12.00 for Museum members & Students with valid I.D. or $14 for General Public. Show will be held in the Museum’s Indoor Auditorium located at 204 N. Ottawa St. in
downtown Joliet.
