Clausen Project To Affect Western Springs Drivers

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL — Western Springs' Clausen Avenue project is set to start Wednesday. It will include the installation of new 8-inch water mains, concrete reconstruction of the roadway and Americans with Disabilities Act improvements, according to a village news release.

Clausen and neighboring streets are expected to be unavailable to through traffic for the majority of the project during construction hours, the village said. Drivers are warned of detours and delays when traveling in the area. The project is set to be completed in the fall.
