Blythe Park School Book Sale – Friday, April 17, from 3 to 6 p.m. and Saturday, April 18, from 9 a.m. to noon, in the Blythe Park School Gym, 735 Leesley Road.

MWRD Open House – Saturday, April 18 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Stickney Water Reclamation Plant, 6001 W. Pershing Road, Cicero, IL. For more information, contact the MWRD Office of Public Affairs at 312-751-6633.

Riverside Township Lions Club Chicken Dinner - Sunday, April 19 from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Auditorium of the Riverside Township Hall, 27 Riverside Road. Tickets are $12 for adults and $5 for children.

P.E.O. Book and Bake Sale - Sunday, April 19 from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Room 4 of the Riverside Township Hall, 27 Riverside Road. Proceeds will benefit educational opportunities for women including local students. Books may be donated for this sale on Friday, April 17 from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM and Saturday, April 18 from 9:30 AM to noon.
