Costly Package Stolen From Western Springs Doorstep: Cops

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL – A package valued at $1,675 was stolen from a woman's front porch July 13 in the 4500 block of Franklin Avenue in Western Springs, police said.

The theft was reported 23 days later.

In another case, a 28-year-old Aurora woman was arrested about 9 a.m. Thursday at 47th Street and Fair Elms Avenue on charges of driving with a suspended license and driving with an expired registration.
