Damage Near Restaurant, Fraud: Western Springs Cops
A car was found damaged on a recent evening at a local restaurant's parking lot, report says.
WESTERN SPRINGS, IL — Western Springs police released their latest blotter Monday. Here is information from the police reports:
- A car's rear driver's side tire panel was damaged on the evening of July 20 in the parking lot of Davanti Enoteca restaurant, 800 Hillgrove Avenue. The report was filed Aug. 30.
- Ramon E. Giron-Diaz, 23, of Cicero, was cited at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Forest and Ogden avenues on charges of no valid driver's license and speeding. He was released on bond.
- A resident in the 1100 block of White Pine Lane informed police Aug. 30 that a bank with which he had never done business has his name and Social Security number on file. He was alerted to this by an inquiry into his credit score by the bank.
- A resident in the 4000 block of Grand Avenue on Wednesday reported numerous fraudulent charges on her PayPay account.
- Police received two identify theft complaints related to unemployment compensation in the last week.
