Debit Card Stolen At Western Springs Store: Cops

Then the card was used to make fraudulent purchases, police said.

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL – Western Springs police released their latest blotter Tuesday. Here is information from the reports:

  • A customer at Mariano's, 4700 Willow Springs Road, accidentally left her debit card there Sunday. Someone later used it to make $132 in purchases.
  • A 21-year-old La Grange man was cited about 3 p.m. Nov 5 in the 3900 block of Wolf Road on charges of driving with no valid license and driving an uninsured car. He was released.
  • A 49-year-old Burr Ridge man was cited about 9 a.m. Wednesday at Wolf Road and Ogden Avenue on charges of driving with a suspended license, driving with an expired registration and driving an uninsured vehicle. He was released.
