Dose of German for LT students

German Consul General Herbert Quelle of the Consulate General of Germany in Chicago will speak to students on Tuesday, December 5

Lyons Township High School Model UN and German Club are teaming up to bring the German Consul General Herbert Quelle of the Consulate General of Germany in Chicago to LT on Tuesday, December 5, 12:30-3pm, North Campus Room 140. He will speak to the students about Germany's role in the European Union, the refugee situation in central Europe, Germany's connections to Chicago, and what opportunities are offered to students for internships and studying abroad.

LT German Club sponsor Shannon Murray says, “This is such a unique and rare opportunity for our students to hear a real German consulate come and speak to them. I hope we can make another connection to help find more opportunities for our students to thrive outside of the classroom.”
