DUI, Park Damage: Western Springs Cops
A man was charged with DUI, among other offenses, police said.

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL – Western Springs police released their latest blotter Monday:
DUI
- Adrian Ruiz Jr., 24, of Chicago, was arrested about 2:30 a.m. Saturday in the 500 block of Hillgrove Avenue on charges of DUI, driving with a suspended license, improper lane usage, improper use of a turn signal and possession of marijuana. Police said they found empty liquor bottles in his car. He was released on bond.
Damage

- Someone damaged three beams and caps on a pergola at Spring Rock Park. The damage was estimated at $1,500. It was reported about 8 a.m. Nov. 14.
Crash
- Marco Polanco, 30, of Westmont, was cited about 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Plainfield and Wolf roads on charges of driving with a suspended or revoked license, driving an uninsured vehicle and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. He was charged after he crashed into a fence. He was released on bond.
