Easy Ways to Share Some Love and Help Others

February is almost here and the youth of PCWS are back with their Valentine Balloon-a-gram sale!  This is a special and easy way you can spread some love this Valentine’s Day.  Think family, think friends, think your sweet neighbor who helped shovel your driveway on a freezing winter day.  Each Valentine balloon-a-gram contains a long-lasting Mylar balloon, a bag of Valentine candies and your personal message.  The cost is $6, including delivery.  PCWS youth will deliver your balloon-a-gram on February 9, just in time for Valentine’s Day!  Recipients do not need to be members of PCWS but there is a limited delivery range (within 5 miles of the church).  So let’s blanket Western Springs and the neighboring towns with Valentine’s love and surprise your friends and family with this great treat.

All proceeds from this annual fundraiser support the youth group’s summer mission trip. 

We all know that February 2 is Super Bowl Sunday.  Did you know it’s also the Souper Bowl of Caring?  PCWS youth will be joining youth groups across the country to collect money for the Souper Bowl of Caring on February 2.  Money is collected in soup pots for local agencies that help alleviate hunger.  To learn more, visit http://www.souperbowl.org.  Your contributions will be much appreciated---thank you!

The Presbyterian Church of Western Springs is located at 5250 Wolf Road in Western Springs.  Sunday Worship is at 9:30am.  Baby and toddler childcare is provided in our nursery.  We offer Sunday School and Activity Center for children and youth preschool age and up.  After Worship, we have a fellowship time to enjoy treats and coffee and then there are many Adult Education offerings.  Please visit www.presbyws.org to learn more.  We look forward to seeing you!
