Elements Therapeutic Massage Opens in Western Springs

Just a few months after Massage Envy left Garden Market to move to La Grange, a new massage business has filled the old space in Western Springs.  

Elements Therapeutic Massage opened July 20 in Suite 45 of Garden Market at the corner of Gilbert and 47th, and while Elements is a fast-growing business it maintains a mom-and-pop feeling, or in this case, a daughter-and-pop. 

Greg Clark and his daughter Sarah opened the new business, and Sarah said running a business is something her family always wanted to do. 

"It's good, it's nice to be able to do your own rules and work together," she said.     
They came across Elements and liked the business model, specifically the therapeutic aspect. Elements doesn't offer facials and other services some massage parlors do now, and instead chooses to focus strictly on the variety of massages offered. Clients are matched with a specific therapist to tailor to their needs, and there are 55-, 80- and 110-minute sessions.

"We try to target people with real problems," Clark said. "We really want to help people."

New client specials going on now include $49 for a 55-minute massage and a buy one, get one half-off deal.
