European Art during the Great War
Ford Library Presents Art History at 7 p.m. on November 6

100 years ago, at the beginning of World War I, artists in France, Italy, and Germany were competing for leadership in the modernist art movement. Displaying great diversity and creativity, Picasso, Kandinsky, Duchamp, Boccioni and others came out on top, establishing paths their successors would follow for a century. Art historian Jeff Mishur will speak about the art that made history during this tumultuous second decade of the 20th century. Register at www.fordlibrary.org or call 708-246-0520.
