Christmas Capers

The Western Springs Recreation Department will be having Christmas Capers and Holiday Open Gym at the Recreation Center.

Christmas Capers is for children 4 years old to 2^nd grade. We have planned games, baking, activities, sports, arts & crafts, and contests to add some excitement to your holiday vacation. Each day features lots of fun activities. Craft and cooking projects will be different each day. Sports activities will be instructed by Sports R Us. Sign up for one time period or a full day of fun! Children must bring their own lunch if staying for lunch. The fun starts December 20th and ends December 30th. There are no classes December 24^th, Dec 27^th and Dec 31^st.  Prices are $20.00 resident and $27.00 non-resident for half day, either morning or afternoon and lunch is $2.00 resident/$3.00 non-resident. Full day is $42.00 resident and $57.00 non-resident.

Holiday Open Gym is also available during the holiday school vacation from Dec 20th thru Dec 30th (No class 12/24, 12/27, and 12/31/10).  Half of the gym will be available for open gym. Players should bring their own basketballs. Cost is $2.00 per player payable at sign in to the site supervisor. 20 players maximum, first come-first serve. Coed 4^th – 5^th from 12:00 – 2:00pm, 6^th – 8^th from 2:00 – 4:00pm, high school/college from 4:00 – 6:00pm.
