The focus of this event/class is mindfulness, that is being present in the moment. It is not a religious experience (though I do suspect one might take it there if one chose to do so); we are looking at being present in our day to day conversations, in our driving, in our reading, our work, etc. How often have we rewound the program we’re watching or backtracked in our reading or wondered if we REALLY saw that car next to us? How often have we walked into a room and wondered why we came? Our minds are full of distractions. We blame our memory but, perhaps, it’s the clatter of our thoughts. Mindfulness brings us to the here and now.
This is huge in all of our lives whatever our age.
Light refreshments provided. RSVP appreciated.
