2:00 p.m.            Salute to Citizens of the Year and Award Ceremony

2:30 p.m.            Introduction of Legislators and Reading of Special Illinois Proclamation

2:50 p.m.            Montessori School of Western Springs – school children song

2:55 p.m.            Grand Avenue Preschool – school children song

3:00 p.m.            “Happy Birthday Western Springs” led by The Tower Chorale

3:05 p.m.            Presentation of Kirschbaum’s Cake and

                              Choral Program featuring The Tower Chorale

3:20 p.m.            Photograph of Current and Past Village Presidents and Village Trustees, and

                             Photograph of Current and Past Citizens of the Year

3:30 p.m.            World Academy of Irish Dancers

3:50 p.m.            Choral Program featuring Highlands District 106 “Show Choir”

4:30 p.m.            Lighting of celebratory Bonfire outside on the McClure Field

At the same time, there will be ice skating outside; Crafts for kids; Book Readings and the creation of a Village Birthday Card at the Thomas Ford Library; a S’Mores table outside; and Ice Carving Demonstrations
