The Western Springs
Tower Trot, a 5K, 10K, and Double run, along with a 1 mile Kids Fun Run, will
hold its 35th annual race Memorial Day weekend, Saturday, May 26th. The race will again join with Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation as its charitable recipient for the twelfth year. The partnership with the Village allows Bear Necessities to raise funds via direct donations on the race entry form, the online
entry, and from race sponsors. (No portion of the race entry fee is given to the Foundation.)

Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation, a national organization, is dedicated to eliminating pediatric
cancer and to providing hope and support to those who are touched by it. Their mission is carried out through three unique programs which include the Bear Hugs Program, Bear Discoveries and Bear Empowerment. www.bearnecessities.org
