The Lyons Township High School Speech Team is hosting its first ever Regional Team Performance, entitled No Fear, Wednesday, February 4, at the South Campus Performing Arts Center, 4900 S. Willow Springs Rd., Western Springs at 6:30pm. Admission is free, but a $3 donation would be welcomed at the door.
All 14 Speech Team events will be presented. Sponsors say, “you’ll laugh, you’ll cry…you’ll be inspired.” Everything from a humorous duet to a dramatic interpretation will be performed. In addition, an original comedy, Woman Up!, by senior Deirdre Sheldon is sure to entertain, as is a dramatic acting duet of a short scene from Children of a Lesser God

The Speech Team recently finished its regular season with their third 1st place trophy. The team has had its most successful season in recent history and coaches are optimistic about their chances in the upcoming regional competition.
