Residents are advised to make note of the following:

  • Residents of Ogden Avenue and Wolf Road north of 47th Street should only rake leaves to the edge of the parkway curb. All other residents must rake leaves all the way into the gutter, or they will not be picked up.
  • Only leaves are allowed in the gutter. Other objects (pumpkins, flowerpots, tree branches, etc.) are a hinderance to workers and slow down leaf removal progress.
  • Bagged leaves/yard waste will not be picked up after November 29 for all neighborhoods besides Ridgewood, and after December 2 for Ridgewood.
  • Anyone using a lawn service should
  • Do not park/stop cars atop piles of leaves, as hot mufflers can start fires.
  • The schedule may be affected by emergencies. Snow removal takes priority over leaf removal.
