Family Movies! Winning Math and Science! Zumba! At Thomas Ford Library July 5 and 6

Be a part of the Library's Winning Season with these great programs!

Tuesday Family Movies Chill out and watch The Peanuts Movie (G) at the library. An adult must accompany children under 8. Drop-in event; no registration required. Tuesday, July 5, 2:00-4:30 p.m.

Math and Science.... For the Win! Join us as we explore the math and science behind some of your favorite games and sports. Could you slam dunk on the Moon? How many different ways can a game of chess start? Is there a way to always win at tic tac toe? How can Sir Isaac Newton help you hit and throw a baseball farther? What is the secret to winning Four-Way Countdown? And how does Albert Einstein's Theory of Relativity help you get to the soccer field on time? These and other mysteries of the gaming universe will all be revealed in Math and Science...for the Win! Grades 3-5. Tuesday, July 5, 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Designed specifically for kids, we will explore healthy, active lifestyle choices while boosting metabolism. Zumba Kids creates an environment of excitement around being healthy and active. Class will incorporate developmental elements such as team work, confidence, self-esteem, creativity, coordination, and cultural awareness. Grades 1-3. Wednesday, July 6, Grades 1-3.
