FIND YOUR VOICE! is the theme of our Summer Reading Program this year and there’s something for everyone. In-person and online (fordlibrary.org) sign-up begins June 1.

Children from birth through grade 4 can earn prizes as they reach their reading goals and may also participate in such fun events as Family Magic Show, Find Your Creative Voice with ScribbleMonster and Tall Tales and Silly Songs.

Tweens through Adults: This summer, the Library is where you’ll find your voice! We’ll help you discover books that inspire you to share your story, express yourself, or spark change. Sign up for summer reading and receive a magnetic poetry set, plus a free cookie from Kirschbaum’s and look forward to raffle and completion prizes. Special events include Community Weaving, Book Bingo and Library Battle of the Books. Many of our summer events and kits will enable Teens and Tweens to use their "voices" to help the community, such as DIY Pet Toys for Hinsdale Humane Society, Seed Bombs, and Random Rocks of Kindness.
