Fireworks Violations In Western Springs: Cops

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL – For the week of July 2 to 8, Western Springs police reported two incidents of crime, both related to fireworks. Here is information from the reports:

• Someone placed an unknown type of fireworks in a recycling rollout container July 4 in the 4200 block of Garden Avenue, causing damage.
• Several youths threw fireworks in a yard and stole a vertical Pride flag about 1 a.m. July 5 in the 1200 block of Maple Street.
