A bank robber carrying a revolver stole an unknown amount of money Dec. 30 from the First Merit Bank on Wolf Road in Western Springs, according to Western Springs police.
The suspect is a white male, about 40 years old and 5-feet-10-inches tall. He was wearing a light blue stocking cap, mirrored sunglasses, a black scarf that covered part of his face, a brown jacket and brown khaki pants, according to police.

The man robbed the bank around 4:10 p.m. He left the bank and went northbound on foot, carrying stolen money in a small bag, according to police.
No one was injured in the bank robbery, and the investigation is ongoing.
