Fishy Looking Car Yields Possible Large Quantity of Pot: Police
Police say LaGrange man was in possession of more than 30 grams of alleged cannabis.

Western Springs police found a felonious quantity of cannabis and assorted drug paraphernalia while investigating a car parked suspiciously in the roadway, reports said.
A patrol officer spotted the alleged fishy looking car in the 3900 block of Harvey around 11:34 p.m. Oct. 7.
Police said the officer could detect the strong odor of suspect cannabis wafting from the vehicle occupied by man later identified as Nicholas Gianesin, 22, of LaGrange.

The officer also noticed a clear plastic baggie containing suspected cannabis, reports said.
A further search of the vehicle yielded several items of drug paraphernalia along with additional suspected cannabis, police said.

Gianesin was charged with possession of 30 grams of cannabis and possession of cannabis with intent to deliver, both felonies. He was also charged with misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
