French Through the Arts Class to Teach Children Motor, Social, Language Skills

The Western Springs Recreation Department is hosting a new class, French Through the Arts, for children between 5 and 10 years old.

The class takes place Mondays, Feb. 23 to April 6, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Western Springs Recreation Center. (1500 Walker, Western Springs), according to the village website. There will be no class on March 30. The class cost is $65 for residents and $81 for nonresidents.

The class will help children with fine and gross motor skills, listening, social skills and language through singing, games and art. Different weekly themes will keep children interested.

To register for the class, fill out a Registration Form and return it to the Recreation Department. The code is 270722A. The class cost is $65 for residents and $81 for nonresidents.
