We’re off to a great start! Performing members of the Western Springs Music Club kicked off the season with a most memorable program “A Musical Kaleidoscope” at the First Congregational Church of Western Springs.
The program began with Dennis Smith (clarinet) accompanied by Bryan Shilander on the piano performing Mieczyslaw Weinberg’s “Sonata for Klarinette und Klavier, Op 28.”
A violin duo by Linda Veleckis Nussbaum and Michele Lekas followed with H. Wieniawski’s “Etude-Caprice Op 18, No. 2 for violin with 2nd violin ad libitum.”

Club members look forward to next month’s program – An Autumn Medley – on October 11th at the Unitarian Church of Hinsdale.
