Grinding Scheduled on 43rd Street from Wolf Road to Franklin Avenue
Grinding on the roads scheduled for resurfacing began Thursday morning and will continue through Friday.
As part of the 2014 Resurfacing Program, road grinding will take place from today (Thursday) through Friday.
Part of 43rd Street, from Wolf Road to Franklin Avenue, will be closed part of the day for grinding, according to a Western Springs news release. There may not be access to this area, including the parking spaces along the north side of the street between Wolf Road and Johnson Avenue.
Residents who need to access the closed off areas for school drop offs should use an alternative path through 42nd Street or through Johnson Avenue. On-street parking restrictions will be in effect tonight (Thursday) through Friday, according to the news release. Cars need to be off the street before 7:30 a.m.
