Western Springs Garden Club presents Melina Peters of the Cook County Forest Preserve, who will speak on our suburban coyotes.
Join the Western Springs Garden Club at the First Congregational Church of Western Springs, 1106 Chestnut, on Monday, February 9 at 12:30pm. Melina Peters, a naturalist and wildlife technician, will discuss the coyotes’ life cycle and habits, how they are adapting to suburbia, and how they are being monitored. The Cook County Forest Preserve has the most comprehensive coyote-monitoring program in Illinois. Come learn what to do should you encounter one of these fascinating creatures.
