Hit-And-Run Crash, Fraud: Western Springs Cops

A parked car was damaged in an accident in a local neighborhood, police say.

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL — Western Springs released its latest blotter. Here is information from the reports:

  • A parked car was struck in a hit-and-run crash Friday in the 3900 block of Grand Avenue. The driver's side rear quarter panel of the parked car was damaged.
  • A resident in the 4100 block of Franklin Avenue told police Friday that a fraudulent bank account was opened in her name and that fraudulent payments from her bank were made to a Zelle account without her authorization.
  • A resident in the 4000 block of Gilbert Avenue told police Oct. 16 that her credit report had been viewed nine separate times when it should have only been viewed once while refinancing her house.
  • Victor C. Enciso, 25, of Indian Head Park, was cited about 3 p.m. Oct. 10 on charges of driving with a suspended license and driving with expired registration. He was released on bond.
  • Ezequiel Soto-Sida, 22, of Chicago, was cited about 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Ogden and Woodland avenues on charges of no valid driver's license, operating an uninsured vehicle and speeding. He was released on bond.
