House Burglary, Damage: Western Springs Cops

Someone broke into a house by going through a window, police said.

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL – Western Springs police released their latest blotter Tuesday. Here is information from the reports:

Burglary

  • Someone burglarized a house by breaking a window between 5 p.m. Wednesday and 9:30 a.m. Thursday in the 1300 block of Chestnut Street. It is unknown at this time if anything was stolen.

Damage

  • Two window panes were damaged between Feb. 26 and Feb. 28 at a house in the 500 block of Grand Avenue. The damage was estimated at $3,000.

Tobacco

  • A youth was charged about 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Lyons Township High School's South Campus, 4900 Willow Springs Road with possession of tobacco or an electronic cigarette.
