Jewelry Stolen From Western Springs House: Cops

Three incidents of crime were reported in Western Springs since New Year's Day.

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL – Three incidents of crime were reported since New Year's Day in Western Springs. Here is information from the latest blotter:

  • Numerous pieces of jewelry were reported stolen Jan. 3 from a house in the 4600 block of Wolf Road.
  • Anthony Gonzalez, 52, of Chicago, was cited about 7 p.m. Friday in the 4700 block of Gilbert Avenue on charges of driving with a suspended license, no proof of insurance, expired registration and no red taillight. He was released on bond.
  • Eduardo Garcia, 22, of Lyons, was cited about 8 a.m. New Year's Day on charges of no valid driver's license and failure to signal. He was released on bond.
