Kama Bistro Opens New La Grange Road Restaurant

Kama Indian Bistro made a move around the corner last weekend to open its much bigger space on La Grange Road.  

I stopped in for dinner with my family on Tuesday to check out the new place, located at 9 S. La Grange Rd., and grab my first meal at Kama. 

If you've been to the old location on Burlington, you know it was very narrow with many small tables and no bar. The new place can seat up to 120 and has a large bar area, as well as outdoor seating. 

For an appetizer we tried the garlic nan and also had lamb sausage, and for my meal I had the chicken vindaloo and a Three Floyd's Zombie Dust beer. Owner Vikram Singh said the new location, with its bar, will allow Kama to expand its drink program and develop a larger menu.
