Interfaith Community Partners Receives Donation

LaGrange Highlands Women's Club Donation supports the mission of Interfaith Community Partners.

La Grange Highlands Woman’s Club recently presented Interfaith Community partners a generous donation at their May 1, 2018 Installation Dinner. Co-presidents Eileen Uremovic and Carol Marston of the La Grange Highlands Woman's Club presented Janet Garreau, Director of Interfaith Community Partners, with a generous donation, the result of fundraising efforts for ICP, which was selected as the Club's 2017-2018 Charity of the Year. Fundraising events included the Club's annual craft show and bake sale, food fundraisers at Hillgrove Tap and Portillo's, a "Trunk or Treat" Halloween event, and a wine tasting at the County Wine Merchant. The objective of the LaGrange Highlands Woman's Club is to further the social, charitable, and civic interests of the community.

Interfaith Community Partners, a non-profit organization that works together with volunteers to provide rides to older adults in the Lyons, Proviso, and Riverside Township . Their mission is to maximize the independence and well being of older adults by enabling connections with others in their community. It is a 501(c)3 organization.
