Learn to Knit or Crochet at PCWS!

Summer is off to a busy start at the Presbyterian Church of Western Springs and we've introduced a new group for those interested in crocheting and knitting.  It's happening Tuesday nights at 7pm.  Do you like to knit?  Is crocheting your thing?  Have you always wanted to learn but didn't know where to start?  YouTube videos and knitting instruction books can only get you so far...sometimes you need the help of a real person to get you started or help you fix the inevitable mistakes.  Everyone is welcome to this Tuesday night group...from seasoned knitters to people who have no idea what a size 11-13 needle is.  (No stress; we can explain.)

Our first Tuesday night teach-in was a fun gathering of 10 teachers and learners, ages 10 to ???.  Laughter far exceeded grimaces of frustration.

We’re gathering every Tuesday night this summer, and into the future, at 7:00 pm in the Graham Charter Room at PCWS.  The Presbyterian Church of Western Springs is located at 5250 Wolf Road in Western Springs.  The Graham Charter Room is located on the first floor.  Enter from the PCWS parking lot and you can't miss it.  

Bring a beverage (optional)  and your project, or a skein of smooth, worsted weight yarn and a medium hook or size 11-13 needles and join us. It’s a very inter-generational and supportive group.  You are most welcome to attend!
