Lyons Township High School's student newspaper, Lion, won a Gold Certificate for outstanding journalism and accumulated several individual awards at the Northern Illinois Press Association (NSPA) convention on April 25 at the College of DuPage.
In individual write-off competition at the convention, LT students placed in eight individual contests.
